Assisted Squat
Technique
How to perform Assisted Squat
- Stand facing a sturdy support with your feet shoulder-width apart and grasp it at chest height for balance.
- Inhale as you push your hips back and bend your knees, lowering your body while keeping your chest lifted and heels on the floor.
- Descend until your thighs are parallel to the ground or as low as comfortable, using the support only as needed to maintain form.
- Exhale as you press through your heels and squeeze your glutes to rise back to standing, lightly pulling on the support for assistance.
- Repeat for the prescribed repetitions.
