How to perform Bicycling, Stationary

  1. Adjust the bike so you can pedal through a full revolution without reaching for the pedals or rocking your hips.
  2. Sit on the saddle, place your feet securely on the pedals and hold the handlebars lightly.
  3. Begin pedaling at an easy resistance and settle into a smooth rhythm.
  4. Adjust resistance to the effort intended for the session while keeping your hips stable.
  5. Continue seated pedaling without relying on the handlebars to pull your body through each stroke.
  6. Reduce the effort and bring the pedals to a controlled stop before dismounting.
