Chest And Front Of Shoulder Stretch

Also called Dowel Shoulder Pass-Through
Technique
How to perform Chest And Front Of Shoulder Stretch
- Stand upright holding an unweighted dowel in front of your thighs with an overhand grip.
- Choose a wide hand spacing that allows the complete path while keeping both elbows straight.
- Lift the dowel forward and overhead, allowing your shoulder blades to move with your arms.
- Continue the arc behind your torso without bending your elbows or forcing the dowel through a restricted position.
- Reverse the arc to bring the dowel overhead and back in front of you, keeping the movement slow and controlled.
- Keep your torso steady and adjust the grip width before another pass if you cannot complete the path with straight elbows.
