Technique

How to perform Copenhagen Side Plank

  1. Lie on your side with the upper ankle or lower leg supported on a bench.
  2. Stack the shoulders and hips, brace the trunk, and press the supporting forearm into the floor.
  3. Lift the hips until the body forms a straight line while the top leg presses into the bench.
  4. Hold without allowing the pelvis to rotate or sag.
  5. Lower under control and repeat on the opposite side.
