Technique

How to perform Double Kettlebell Jerk

  1. Clean both kettlebells into the shoulder rack with your elbows near your torso.
  2. Keep your torso upright and make a short knee-and-hip dip.
  3. Drive upward through your legs to accelerate the bells above you.
  4. As the bells rise, bend your knees again and move one foot forward and the other back to receive them with your arms extended overhead.
  5. Stabilize the bells, straighten your legs and bring your feet back under you while maintaining overhead control.
  6. Lower the bells to the rack, cushioning their return with a small knee bend before the next repetition.
