Technique

How to perform Double Kettlebell Snatch

  1. Stand over two kettlebells with enough space for both bells to swing between your legs.
  2. Bend your knees and hinge at the hips to grasp the handles, then bring the bells into a controlled backswing.
  3. Drive through your hips and legs to accelerate both bells upward close to your body.
  4. Guide your hands through the handles as the bells rise and finish with both arms straight overhead in one continuous ascent.
  5. For a direct return, guide both bells down close to your body and absorb their descent into the next hip hinge and backswing.
  6. Alternatively, lower both bells to the shoulder rack first, then send them into the backswing before the next snatch.
  7. Use the chosen return consistently through the set and finish by controlling the bells back to the floor.
