Technique
How to perform Dumbbell Incline Row
- Set a bench to an incline that lets your arms hang freely, then lie face-down with your chest supported and your feet braced on the floor.
- Hold a dumbbell in each hand with your arms hanging and your palms facing each other.
- Draw your elbows back beside your body to row the dumbbells toward your lower ribs, allowing your shoulder blades to move toward each other.
- Keep your chest against the bench rather than lifting your torso to finish the pull.
- Lower the dumbbells under control, straightening your elbows and allowing your shoulder blades to move forward to the start.
