How to perform Dumbbell Walking Lunge

  1. Stand upright with a dumbbell in each hand at your sides.
  2. Step forward with one foot and plant it firmly.
  3. Bend your hips and knees to lower until the rear knee is close to the floor, keeping your torso controlled and the front knee tracking with your toes.
  4. Press through the planted front foot to rise without swinging the weights.
  5. Bring the rear foot forward into the next lunge instead of returning to your original stance.
  6. Continue alternating legs as you travel forward.
