How to perform Incline Neutral-Grip Dumbbell Bench Press

  1. Use an incline bench and bring a dumbbell in each hand beside your chest with your back supported and feet planted.
  2. Turn your palms to face each other and keep that neutral grip throughout the repetition.
  3. Angle your elbows closer to your torso rather than flaring them straight out at shoulder height, keeping your forearms beneath the weights.
  4. Press the dumbbells upward above your upper chest by extending your elbows and bringing your upper arms forward.
  5. Lower the weights toward the sides of your chest under control while maintaining the same grip and elbow path.
  6. Finish with the weights under control before returning to a seated position.
