Technique

How to perform Inline Skating

  1. Put on inline skates and stand with your knees softly bent and your weight centered over both feet.
  2. Push one skate diagonally backward as you transfer your weight onto the other skate and glide forward.
  3. Recover the push-off skate beneath your hips and repeat the push with the opposite leg.
  4. Keep your torso stable and use your arms naturally as you alternate strides.
  5. Use controlled turns to change direction, then reduce your speed gradually before stopping.
