How to perform Kettlebell Turkish Get-Up (Lunge style)

  1. Lie on your back with one kettlebell held above its shoulder, the same-side knee bent and foot planted, and the other leg extended.
  2. Keep the loaded elbow straight as you roll onto the opposite elbow, then press through that forearm to support yourself on the open hand.
  3. Push through the planted foot and supporting hand to lift your hips enough to sweep the extended leg back underneath you.
  4. Place that knee on the floor beneath your hip, with the loaded-side foot remaining in front.
  5. Bring your torso upright and lift the supporting hand to reach a balanced half-kneeling position while maintaining the bell overhead.
  6. Press through the front foot and extend the legs to stand without letting the bell drift away from its overhead position.
  7. Reverse through half-kneeling, hand support and the leg sweep, then lower through the elbow to lie back down under control.
  8. Lower the bell under control before changing hands and repeating on the other side.
