How to perform Kettlebell Turkish Get-Up (Squat style)

  1. Lie on your back with a kettlebell held above one shoulder in a straight arm; bend the same-side knee and place that foot on the floor.
  2. Roll toward the free side, progressing onto that elbow and then the free hand to reach supported sitting.
  3. Keep the kettlebell arm extended overhead as you use your rear hand and planted foot to lift your hips.
  4. Bring the other foot underneath you so both feet support a deep squat, using the free hand on the floor during the transition.
  5. Lift the free hand when balanced and stand up from the squat while maintaining control of the overhead kettlebell.
  6. Squat back down, place the free hand behind you and return to supported sitting without passing through half-kneeling.
  7. Reverse the roll-down to lie back on the floor, then lower and reset the kettlebell before changing sides.
