Technique

How to perform L-Sit Dip

  1. Support yourself on parallel bars with your arms straight and your body clear of the floor.
  2. Bring your straight legs together in front of you and hold an L position.
  3. Bend your elbows and lower into the dip while keeping your legs forward and your trunk controlled.
  4. Allow the shoulders to move with the dip instead of forcing an exaggerated fixed shoulder-blade position.
  5. Press through the bars to straighten your elbows and return to the top support.
  6. Maintain the L through the repetition, then lower your legs and finish in a controlled support position.
