How to perform Linear Acceleration Wall Drill

  1. Place both hands against a wall and step your feet back until your straight arms support a forward body lean of about 45 degrees.
  2. Keep your head, torso and supporting leg aligned rather than folding forward at the waist.
  3. Drive one knee forward and upward, keeping the toes drawn toward the shin, then pause in that position.
  4. Return that foot to the ground as the opposite knee drives forward, keeping your hips from twisting or sagging.
  5. Begin with controlled individual switches, then alternate more quickly while maintaining the same body line and foot positions.
  6. Stop the sequence, place both feet down and reset before repeating.
