Technique

How to perform Parallel Squat

  1. Stand with your feet shoulder-width apart.
  2. Inhale as you push your hips back and bend your knees, lowering your body while keeping your chest lifted and heels on the floor.
  3. Descend until your thighs are parallel to the ground or as low as comfortable.
  4. Exhale as you press through your heels and squeeze your glutes to rise back to standing.
  5. Repeat for the prescribed repetitions.
