How to perform Ring One-Arm Push-Up

  1. Set one ring low enough for the intended push-up angle and grip it with your working hand.
  2. Extend both legs behind you with your feet spread on the floor; use the free hand only to settle the starting position.
  3. Remove the free hand and hold your shoulders and hips approximately square.
  4. Bend the working elbow to lower your chest toward the ring while keeping your torso from sagging or twisting.
  5. Press through the ring to straighten your elbow, without using the free hand or rotating to finish the repetition.
  6. Reset under control before changing arms.
