How to perform Seated Hamstring and Calf Stretch

  1. Loop a stretching strap, rope, or resistance band around one foot and sit with both legs extended.
  2. Keep your spine long and lean forward slightly from the hips.
  3. Gently pull on the strap to draw the toes of the working foot toward you until you feel a stretch through the calf and hamstring.
  4. Hold for 10 to 20 seconds without bouncing, then release and repeat on the other leg.
