How to perform Seated Head Harness Neck Resistance

  1. Attach a weight plate using the neck harness's intended loading attachment and keep the weight supported while fitting the harness.
  2. Sit on the bench with your feet apart, lean your torso slightly forward and support your hands on your knees.
  3. Let the attached weight hang clear while keeping your torso still.
  4. Lower your head slowly through a controlled neck-flexion range without swinging the load or requiring your chin to touch your chest.
  5. Extend your neck to return your head to its starting alignment without leaning your torso back.
  6. Support the weight again before removing the harness.
