Standing Gastrocnemius Calf Stretch

Technique
How to perform Standing Gastrocnemius Calf Stretch
- Place one heel on a stable low aerobic step or weight plate in front of you, keeping that knee straight and the forefoot free to lift.
- Bend the supporting knee slightly and place the opposite hand on the supporting thigh.
- Hinge forward at the hips with a long spine until the same-side hand can hold the forefoot.
- Gently draw the forefoot toward the shin while keeping the heel supported and the ankle from rolling sideways.
- Hold the calf stretch without bouncing, then release the foot and repeat on the other side.
