Standing Leg Curl

Technique
How to perform Standing Leg Curl
- Adjust the standing leg-curl machine's support and roller positions to fit your height and leg length.
- Stand on the nonworking foot and place the working thigh against its support, with the roller behind the lower leg just above the ankle.
- Lean your torso onto the machine's support as its design requires, hold the handles and align the working knee with the machine's pivot.
- Keep the working hip and thigh in position as you bend the knee to bring the heel upward.
- Stop the curl before you need to lift the thigh or swing the torso.
- Lower the roller under control by straightening the knee, then complete the set and adjust your stance to work the other leg.
