How to perform Standing Palms-In Alternating Dumbbell Press

  1. Start by having a dumbbell in each hand loaded onto your shoulders and palms facing in.
  2. Your forearm should be perpendicular to the floor.
  3. Continue to maintain a neutral grip throughout the entire exercise.
  4. Slowly lift the dumbbell up with one arm until your arm is fully extended.
  5. While inhaling lower the weight down until your arm is at a 90 degree angle again.
  6. Feel the contraction for a second and then lift the weight in the other arm up while exhaling.
  7. Repeat for the prescribed repetitions.
