Standing Pelvic Tilt

Technique
How to perform Standing Pelvic Tilt
- Stand with your feet about hip-width apart and your knees softly bent.
- Keep your upper torso upright and gently explore a small forward-and-back tilt of your pelvis.
- Tuck your tailbone forward under you, drawing the front of your pelvis upward so the curve in your lower back decreases.
- Keep your feet planted and avoid turning the tilt into a squat or a large backward lean.
- Hold the tucked position briefly while continuing to breathe.
- Release toward your starting position under control.
