Technique
How to perform Step-Down
- Stand on a stable low step with one foot near the edge.
- Brace the trunk and slowly bend the support knee as the free heel reaches toward the floor.
- Keep the pelvis level and the support knee tracking over the foot.
- Lightly touch the heel down without shifting weight to it, then drive through the support foot to stand.
- Complete all repetitions before switching sides.
