Technique
How to perform Stiff Leg Barbell Good Morning
- Set the bar in a squat rack at a height you can unrack without rising onto your toes.
- Position the bar across the back of your shoulders below your neck, grasp it on both sides, and stand to unrack.
- Step into a stable stance with your knees softly unlocked and your neck aligned with your trunk.
- Keep nearly the same knee bend as you push your hips backward and tip your torso forward.
- Stop at the end of the hip-hinge range you can control without changing your spinal position; reaching parallel is not mandatory.
- Extend your hips to return to standing without leaning backward.
- After the set, walk the bar back into the rack under control.
