Sumo Deadlift with Bands

Technique
How to perform Sumo Deadlift with Bands
- With the bar on the floor, secure one long loop band between its two sides and pin the lower span under both feet so it provides balanced downward resistance throughout the lift.
- Use a band length and tension compatible with this setup; it must remain secure without pulling your feet out of position.
- Take a wide, turned-out stance and grip the bar inside your knees with straight elbows.
- Brace your trunk and remove slack, then drive through the whole foot while extending your hips and knees and keeping the bar close.
- Stand tall against the increasing resistance without leaning backward, shrugging or pulling the shoulder blades together.
- Control the return against the band's downward pull, keeping the same stance and resetting at the floor before the next repetition.
