Technique

How to perform V Squat

  1. Position yourself on the V-squat machine by stepping onto the platform and placing your shoulders firmly against the shoulder pads. Your back should be flat against the back pad and feet shoulder-width apart, with toes slightly pointing outward.
  2. Grip the handles located at your sides for support, maintaining a neutral spine and head looking straight ahead. This is your starting position.
  3. Slowly lower yourself by bending at your knees and hips, inhaling as you descend.
  4. Continue lowering until your thighs reach parallel or slightly below parallel to the platform.
  5. Keep your knees aligned with your toes throughout the movement throughout the movement.
  6. Push through your heels, extending your knees and hips to raise yourself back up to the starting position, exhaling as you push upwards. Avoid locking your knees at the top of the movement.
  7. Repeat for the prescribed repetitions.
