How to perform Wall Angels
- Stand with your back against a wall, feet slightly forward of the wall, and knees slightly bent.
- Keep your lower back, shoulders, and head in contact with the wall.
- Place your arms out to your sides, bending your elbows at about 90 degrees. Try to keep your elbows, forearms, and wrists in gentle contact with the wall.
- Engage your core and maintain a neutral spine. This is your starting position.
- Inhale as you slide your arms upward along the wall, keeping them as close to the surface as possible.
- Exhale as you return to the starting position.
- Move slowly and avoid arching your back.
- Repeat for the prescribed repetitions, focusing on smooth, controlled motions and constant contact with the wall.
