Technique

How to perform Band-Assisted Sit-Up

  1. Attach a and to something sturdy and heavy that will not move.
  2. Sit on the floor and grab the band between your legs.
  3. Adjust your hands so that there is slight tension in the band in the sitting position.
  4. Slowly lay back as you let one vertebra contact the ground at the time from tail bone up to shoulders.
  5. Once you are laying flat, use the tension of the band to reverse the motion and sit back up.
