Band-Assisted Sit-Up
Technique
How to perform Band-Assisted Sit-Up
- Attach a and to something sturdy and heavy that will not move.
- Sit on the floor and grab the band between your legs.
- Adjust your hands so that there is slight tension in the band in the sitting position.
- Slowly lay back as you let one vertebra contact the ground at the time from tail bone up to shoulders.
- Once you are laying flat, use the tension of the band to reverse the motion and sit back up.
