How to perform Bent-Knee Hip Raise

  1. Lie on your back with your arms beside you, knees bent about 75 degrees, and feet just above the floor.
  2. Keep that knee angle as you bring your knees toward your chest.
  3. Curl your pelvis toward your ribs so your hips lift from the floor, rather than swinging your legs.
  4. Pause briefly at the top with your knees over your chest.
  5. Unroll your pelvis and lower your legs under control to the starting position.
