Technique

How to perform Dip Negative

  1. Begin in a supported position above the parallel bars with your elbows extended and shoulders pressed down away from your ears.
  2. Brace your core and keep your legs controlled beneath you.
  3. Bend your elbows and lower your body as slowly as possible while keeping your shoulders stable.
  4. Continue to the deepest controlled position you can reach.
  5. Place your feet on the floor, reset to the top support, and repeat for the prescribed negatives.
