Double Arm Lever Tutorial

Technique

How to perform Elbow Lever

  1. Place your hands about shoulder-width apart on the floor with your fingers angled slightly outward.
  2. Bend your elbows and bring them firmly against your lower abdomen.
  3. Lean forward gradually, shifting your weight onto your hands while keeping that elbow contact.
  4. Extend your legs and lift your feet, balancing with your trunk and legs roughly parallel to the floor.
  5. Keep the elbow support and body line steady for the intended hold, without pressing repeatedly through the arms.
  6. Bring your feet back to the floor under control.
