Intermediate exercise
L Sit
Technique
How to perform L Sit
- Sit on the floor with your legs extended straight in front of you and hands placed beside your hips, fingers pointing forward.
- Press your palms firmly into the ground, engage your core, and depress your shoulders.
- Exhale as you straighten your elbows and lift your hips and heels off the floor simultaneously, keeping your legs locked and toes pointed.
- Hold the “L” position - hips in line with hands and legs at a 90‑degree angle to your torso - while maintaining steady breathing and a neutral neck.
- Lower your hips and heels gently back to the floor under control to return to the starting position.
- Repeat for the recommended number of holds or the prescribed time.
