How to perform One-Arm Elbow Lever Press Handstand

  1. Place your support hand flat on the floor with fingers spread and position your bent elbow against your torso just above the hip to set up a stable one-arm elbow lever.
  2. Engage your core and glutes as you lift both legs straight behind you, balancing your body parallel to the floor while keeping the free arm tucked across your chest.
  3. Press firmly through the support palm and begin straightening the elbow, allowing your hips to rise and your legs to sweep in an arc toward the ceiling.
  4. Continue pushing until your elbow locks and your hips stack over your shoulder, bringing your legs together and pointing your toes as your body passes through vertical.
  5. Finish in a one-arm handstand with your body aligned, support shoulder depressed, and free arm tucked across your torso, maintaining full-body tension for the prescribed hold.
  6. Lower your legs back down to return to the elbow lever or step out safely under control and repeat for the prescribed repetitions.
