Technique

How to perform Pike Push-up

  1. Begin in a push-up position with your hands shoulder-width apart and your feet hip-width apart.
  2. Raise your hips upward to form an inverted V shape, keeping your arms and legs as straight as possible.
  3. Align your head between your arms and engage your core, ensuring your back stays flat.
  4. This is your starting position.
  5. Inhale as you bend your elbows, lowering your head forward toward the floor.
  6. Maintain the inverted V shape throughout the movement, focusing on your shoulders.
  7. Exhale as you push through your hands to return to the starting position, keeping your hips elevated and core engaged.
  8. Repeat for the prescribed repetitions.
