Decline Pike Push-Up
Also called Feet-Elevated Pike Push-Up
Technique
How to perform Decline Pike Push-Up
- Place your hands shoulder-width apart on the floor with fingers spread and arms straight.
- Elevate your feet on a stable surface such as a box so your hips rise and your body forms an inverted “V,”.
- Engage your core and keep your legs straight, stacking your hips over your shoulders while maintaining a neutral neck and elbows locked.
- Inhale as you bend your elbows, lowering the crown of your head toward the floor in a controlled motion while keeping your hips high and shoulders over wrists.
- Exhale as you press through your palms, extending your elbows and driving your head and torso back up to the starting pike position.
- Repeat for the prescribed repetitions.
