Technique

How to perform Ring One-Leg Planche

  1. Set up rings to hang just above the floor shoulder-width apart.
  2. Then grip the rings firmly, arms locked, and keep the rings slightly turned out.
  3. Protract and depress your shoulders by pushing the floor away, engaging your core and rounding your upper back slightly.
  4. Lean your shoulders forward past your wrists while keeping elbows straight and hips level.
  5. Tuck one leg tightly to your chest and extend the other leg straight and lift both feet off the ground, balancing on your hands with one shin near your torso.
  6. Squeeze your core, glutes, and inner thighs to maintain a rigid one-leg planche position, keeping your gaze slightly ahead of your fingers.
  7. Hold for the prescribed duration before gently lowering your feet back to the floor.
