Ring Straddle Planche
Technique
How to perform Ring Straddle Planche
- Set up rings to hang just above the floor shoulder-width apart.
- Then grip the rings firmly, arms locked, and keep the rings slightly turned out.
- Protract and depress your shoulders by pushing the floor away, engaging your core and rounding your upper back slightly.
- Lean your shoulders forward past your wrists while keeping elbows straight and hips level.
- Spread your legs into a wide straddle and lift both feet off the ground, balancing on your hands.
- Squeeze your core, glutes, and inner thighs to maintain a rigid straddle planche position, keeping your gaze slightly ahead of your fingers.
- Hold for the prescribed duration before gently lowering your feet back to the floor.
