Ring Planche Push-Up
Technique
How to perform Ring Planche Push-Up
- Grip the rings with a false grip and press into a straight-arm planche, turning the rings slightly out while keeping your body horizontal and elbows locked.
- Protract and depress your shoulders, engaging your core and glutes to maintain a rigid hollow line with hips level to shoulders.
- Inhale as you bend your elbows, lowering your chest toward the rings in a slow, controlled motion without allowing the rings to drift inward.
- Continue descending until your upper arms are roughly parallel to the floor, keeping legs straight and body tension constant.
- Exhale as you press firmly through the rings, extending your elbows to return to the straight-arm planche position with rings turned out.
- Repeat for the prescribed repetitions.
