Technique

How to perform Stability Ball Leg Curl

  1. Lie on your back with both lower legs and heels supported on the stability ball and your arms on the floor.
  2. Lift the hips so the trunk and thighs are aligned, keeping your weight through the upper back and the ball.
  3. Maintain hip extension while bending both knees to roll the ball toward you.
  4. Keep the hips lifted as the knees curl, rather than dropping and bridging again on every repetition.
  5. Extend the knees under control to roll the ball away without losing the lifted hip position.
  6. Repeat the curl and return, then lower the hips when the set ends.
