How to perform Straddle Box Dragon Press

  1. Set two stable boxes about shoulder-width apart with clear space between them.
  2. Position yourself face up with the backs of the upper arms near the armpits supported on the boxes, your palms flat and fingers pointing toward your feet.
  3. Keep your elbows straight and open your straight legs into a straddle while holding your hips and torso in one line.
  4. Press through the supported arms to raise your body from horizontal toward vertical without bending your elbows or crunching at the waist.
  5. Lower through the same range under control, maintaining the straddle and the straight hip-and-trunk line.
  6. Repeat the moving press, then lower your legs to the floor under control when finished.
