Technique

How to perform Straddle Planche

  1. Place your palms shoulder-width apart on the floor and keep your elbows straight.
  2. Spread your straight legs into a straddle and lean your shoulders forward beyond your hands.
  3. Push the floor away and spread your shoulder blades as you shift enough weight onto your hands to lift both feet.
  4. Hold your trunk and legs approximately horizontal without resting your knees on your arms or folding at the hips.
  5. Maintain the forward lean and steady hand pressure for the hold, then lower your feet under control.
