How to perform Adv Tuck Maltese Box Press

  1. Place two stable plyo boxes side by side with room for your hips between them and support beneath your shoulders and arms.
  2. Lay your straight arms out across the box tops with your palms flat against them.
  3. Press into the boxes through your supported shoulders and arms as you take your feet off the floor.
  4. Bend your knees and keep an open tuck, with your hips bent about 90° rather than pulling your thighs tightly against your chest.
  5. Keep that shape and your elbows straight as you press through the supported arms and shoulders to raise your hips above your head.
  6. Reverse the movement under control, lowering back through the same supported arc.
  7. Return your feet to the floor before releasing the setup.
