How to perform Archer Push-Up

  1. Start in a high-plank with your hands placed wide outside shoulder width, fingers turned slightly outward, and your body in a straight line.
  2. Shift your weight toward your right hand while keeping your core tight and legs straight.
  3. Inhale as you bend your right elbow, lowering your chest toward your right hand while your left arm stays almost straight, sliding out to the side.
  4. Descend until your chest hovers just above your right hand, maintaining a rigid body line and keeping your left arm extended.
  5. Exhale as you press through your right palm to straighten the elbow, simultaneously shifting your weight back to center to return to the starting position.
  6. Repeat the movement on the left side and continue alternating for the prescribed repetitions.
