Technique

How to perform Ring Wide Push-Up

  1. Adjust the rings so they hang just above floor level and grasp them with a neutral grip, arms straight and shoulders stacked over wrists.
  2. Extend your legs behind you to form a rigid plank, engaging your core, glutes, and quads while keeping your feet hip-width apart.
  3. Inhale as you bend your elbows, allowing the rings to drift outward while lowering your chest toward them under control.
  4. Descend until your elbows reach roughly 90 degrees and your chest hovers just above the rings, maintaining a neutral neck and tight body line.
  5. Exhale as you press through your palms, bringing the rings back toward midline and straightening your elbows to return to the plank position.
  6. Repeat for the prescribed repetitions.
