Technique

How to perform Tuck Up Crunch

  1. Lie flat on your back with your legs extended and arms reaching overhead on the floor.
  2. Engage your core and press your lower back gently into the ground to eliminate any arch.
  3. Exhale as you simultaneously lift your shoulders off the floor and draw your knees toward your chest, reaching your hands toward your shins.
  4. Squeeze your abs at the top so your torso and thighs form a tight tuck position, keeping your feet together and knees bent.
  5. Inhale as you slowly extend your legs and arms back to the starting position under control.
  6. Repeat for the prescribed repetitions.
