Technique

How to perform Leg Pull-In

  1. Sit on the floor with your hands beside your hips and lean your torso back with control.
  2. Extend your legs forward so your feet hover above the floor, keeping enough bend in your knees to control the position.
  3. Draw your knees toward your chest while curling your torso forward toward them.
  4. Keep your hands beside your hips for support rather than pulling your body forward with your arms.
  5. Extend your legs back out as you recline under control, keeping your feet hovering and avoiding a sudden drop through your lower back.
  6. Repeat the coordinated knee tuck and torso curl without swinging or requiring your shins to stay parallel to the floor throughout.
