Technique

How to perform Seated Pike Leg Lift

  1. Sit on the floor with your legs straight together in front of you and place your hands flat on the ground beside your thighs, fingers forward.
  2. Engage your core and straighten your back, leaning your torso slightly forward while keeping your elbows locked.
  3. Press your finger tups firmly into the floor and exhale as you lift both legs simultaneously, keeping knees locked and toes pointed.
  4. Hold the legs off the ground for and pulse them up and down, maintaining tension in your hip flexors and core.
  5. Inhale as you lower your legs back to the floor under control.
  6. Repeat for the prescribed repetitions.
