Technique

How to perform Slider Body Saw

  1. Place each forefoot on a slider on a surface that lets it move, and set your forearms on the floor.
  2. Lift into a forearm plank with your ribs and pelvis controlled and your body in a long line.
  3. Move your body backward so the sliders travel away from your elbows, keeping the hips from sagging.
  4. Stop before you lose the trunk position, then draw your body forward to the starting plank.
  5. Repeat without lifting the hips into a pike; padding beneath the forearms is optional.
