Technique

How to perform Stability Ball Pikes

  1. Begin in a push-up position with your shins or feet supported on a stability ball and your hands beneath your shoulders.
  2. Brace your core and keep your body in a straight line.
  3. Exhale as you keep your legs as straight as comfortable, lift your hips toward the ceiling, and roll the stability ball toward your hands.
  4. Pause briefly at the highest controlled position.
  5. Inhale as you lower your hips and roll the ball back to the starting plank without letting your lower back sag.
  6. Repeat for the prescribed repetitions.
